Over 1 million in capital to trade with???

It pains me to agree with you, I think you are both full of shit and have flapjack manboobs!

Quote from brokenmarkets:

your post is lie,

you don't have 1 million dollars to trade.

your asking for the best retail firm and you say you are starting a hedge fund ..i call b.s...

you ar b.s. lie post

I call bs when someone says they have 7 figures and are just starting to worry about where their money is safe. Where have you been the last 3 years? Not one avearge, high net worth retail customer lost 1 dime due to broker failure in the biggest financial crisis ever!

Go buy some more god and siver and a reynolds hat bro!

I have been trading on and off for about 10 years.. I got back into trading pretty heavy about 18 months ago. I have done quite well.. Made a ton of money on Precious Metals, (mostly silver), day trading and so on.. I have taken a break but will get VERY long Gold and Silver futures soon.. I have a nice portfolio of physical metals..

I have some strong beliefs on the future.. We are going to see some massive inflation.. Silver and Gold are easy money.. I take the money I make in the market and continue to buy physical metal..

Currently I have over 1 million of cash to trade with, I have been trading with the Schwabs, TD, and so on.. And of course I do trade futures but I mainly like to trade stocks and options...

I started trading with not much more then 100k,, Yes I have done well, but I know there is a lot more I can be doing..

I also manage some accounts for friends and family..

I am sick of trading with brokers that are trading against me at times, holding my orders, taking forever to cancel a order and so on..

I would like to use the cash I have and really put it to work, the more capital I can trade with the better I will do.. Everything I do right now is retail... Looking for at least 5 if not 10 times over night buying power.. Inter day 10 times is fine with me...

I don't and wont be forced to churn my account so I run up commissions.. I trade when I want to trade, I avg around25-40 trades a day.. Sometimes I day trade but I do tend to swing trade quite often..

I want to be able to trade where I don't have to worry about my money being held there..

If I can get some help and good ideas on how I can start 2011 off in a really good way I would appreciate it..

I dont have to trade with a prop firm.. I can stay retail, but I am no longer going to trade with the big brokers.. I have been looking at some small day trading firms.. But yes I would not mind really stepping things up!!!!!!!!

I would like to know the best retail firms to trade with.. Firms that will not play games with me the like the major brokers do and I would like to know what options I have as far as prop trading etc..

I would love to trade on the RediPlus by Goldman, but other platforms are ok too..

As things go along I plan on starting a hedge fund.. Most likely in 2011..I want to personally get my net worth up a little more and then I will explore those options,, I have just hired my first employee to start next year and will soon after that be looking to hire a trading assistant

Will be happy and open to further discussions on this..

Thanks
Brandon

Hey man..

Think what u want.. I am not on here to waste my time nor anyone else.

I explained myself quite clearly in my post.. I do and have been trading retail with the bigger firms.. I know there are retail firms out there that wont play the games that the big firms do..

Yes I do have the capital I say.. Do I need a prop firm to trade with.. Not really, but would be nice to find a firm I trust that I could put some capital into and do some trading with them..

Would I just throw a million at some prop firm.. NO WAY.. Some capital with a prop firm and some with a good retail firm that isnt going to jerk me around might be the plan..

I am a very big trader on Silver futures and mining stocks.. In fact about 75% of my trading the past 6 months has been in the metal markets.. Have u seen the move in Silver the last 4 months??? If so I think u can understand how I have the capital I say do.. Take a look at SLW,HL,SVM, EXK and so on..

I am flat right now but will be getting very long Gold and Silver futures and some small cap miners quite soon..

And yeah once I get what I am doing more in order I will start some type of hedge fund.. I already manage several accounts.. But want to take what I do for myself and others to the next level..

Peace.......

Brandon, anyone who can say with 100% certainty that you don't have the capital you say you do is a fool. The same goes for anyone who's 100% certain that you do have it.

Ignore the envious haters, and welcome to ET. :p

Rearden Metal

Thanks!!!

Now I hope I can get back on topic and get some good answers to my questions... I came on here to get some good answers and to expand what I am already doing.. Thanks again

I think you're a dreamer, and are thinking about 'what if'. I think you papertraded that shit a few months and you're acting as it was real money.

If I'm wrong and you are honest than you know exactly what to do, call up the big guys, fly over to them and talk to them in the face. You'll get what you want eventually. Just ask them. If you don't want to see them and don't want to fly over, dream on then, and hey, enjoy the dream. It's yours.

On commissions.

Yes you paid $4.95 on an order, what you didn't pay in commissions , u paid in order flow where they routed that shit to citadel , they picked off $50 off your $50k order (1 cent off of 5000 shares) . So your real commission was probbaly $50-60 , but $4.95 was just a fasacade making you feel all fuzzy and warm inside you got a deal.

There is no $4.95 free lunch, you are paying it either upfront (interactive brokers .005 per stock) or you are paying it through orderflow.
