Outpacing the market

Serious volatility with MU. 10% swing in one day on an 8 billion $ market cap co. Now selling close to book value.

Last spike I hedged myself through april options expiration. Been accumulating for the long term. We'll see where this goes...

MU slowly moving up with the iPhone push. Where there is risk there is reward!?!

Some would say this is a dogshit stock. Others will say ripe for a LBO.

Others hold for the long-term.

Have been holding my shares and slowly lifting the hedge over the past few months since this post to allow for positive directional movement.

Well we all know GE. Today was weak but it seems to have bottomed at 34.



Any others? I like to look for strength on down days in quality companies which I believe is an indication of accumulation.

The list of goodies got smacked hard as did everything but AAPL and AMZN but then again ya'll hedged or sold before the rout, didn't ya?

The latest development in Mu should have the stock reeling for awhile especially in the context of a market sell-off.

Now on my list is Ford. Yes Ford. Battered not broken...

The metals were down today again which made them appealing...

Lastly did anyone do the obvious today and cover their cover!!!............

Overall market DOWN. I remember Baritoromo sitting on the steps of Federal Hall on the 13th of July broadcasting to the world the New High on CNBC. I threw a quarter on the steps to pay homage and sold....

Prescient?!?
