Wasn't it a lovely speech last night. Well paced reading from the teleprompters. Kudos to the President's writers. And Kudos to the President for staying mostly on message. Sadly, it was a well-delivered message internally conflicted. I am reminded of Richard Nixon's 'Peace with Honor' presidential campaign during our next longest and equally ill advised war in Vietnam. Defeat is once again certain.
