$USD is not worthless..yet. However, once a government adopts a "currency debasement" policy, it has historically been a "slippery slope to bankruptcy" for most who hold assets in that currency... in this case, nearly ALL US citizens.

Apparently a large % of US dollars are counterfeit - printed by emerging countries. They are beginning to get the hang of things American style. Pity they didn't teach honesty etc.

I've actually suspected that counterfiet dollars have been responsible for some of our 'prosperity'. Aint that a laugh?

BTW, Europe is in worst shape then we are. Nothing to take the place of the dollar.
