Of course you can always buy puts, but the premium is huge. I'd recommend just doing the straight up short sale.
What's funny, is Peterfyy was subject to the same disease as OSTK. It was the Dutch Auction IPO that klled him, and now he lends out Pennies, OSTK. Just thought it was sort of ironic.
Byrne was threatened, btw, after his IPO. They said they would destroy him, and they almost did. Almost is a biggggggggg word.

Dude, when you short more than the float, what difference does business make? And besides, I 'm not sure you "coming to a conclusion" is proper fundamental analysis - not that proper fundamental analysis works in these situations anyway.
No one knows what they're going to say. Wht if he restructures to screw the shorts? He could do anything. Lots of family money there, and, I hear he's got it in for Wall St. But don't tell anyone. It's a secret.
OSTK has a lot of potential.
