OSTK ceo

last i knew, the argument is over why overstock shares are valued at $16.

some people like to believe that it's a big conspiracy and that the shares should be higher. this conspiracy also seems to be popular among penny stock investors who get burned by a pump and dump.

the company's numbers say that the stock should actually be valued LOWER than $16 a share.

It's hard to argue with the raw numbers

I think we found the problem No one is arguing this. We are talking about the OSTK CEO as an individual fighting a perceived wrong in the system.

5 dollar 10 now 10 dollar 10 dollar
10 dollar 10 dollar give me a hollar 10 dollar
who will bid it at a 5 dollar bid?
5 dollar 5 5 make it 5 and a 5 make it 5 and a 5
Who will bid it at a 5 dollar bid?

no, we're not. it's a discussion about why the price of overstock has fallen so much

There's a separate thread for the conspiracy.

Quote from TheDecider:

OSTK should go private and force the shorts to cover their position.

Who would want to take a company private that can't turn a profit and is showing no signs of ever being able?

But you clearly are arguing that the price of OSTK should be higher. Isn't that the reason OSTK has a hard time accessing the capital markets - because the stock price has underperformed? The whole argument eventually comes back to price.

Sith lord driving his stocks manipulation...ROFLMMFAO...LOLOLOLOLOL

This is the first post. Read it carefully. It's ok to move your lips. It does not say anything about fundies. It was in reference to a conference call where Bryne called out the press and Wall St.

Your kid may be ugly, and he may be fat, and uncoordinated, but he still has a right to try out for the team. Nobody here is talking about the stock. We are talking about a man, who is CEO of said company, fighting what he sees as corruption.

Since he has started that fight, and endured all sorts of ridicule, many things have transpired, including an investigation of the SEC by the GAO, the outcome which is still unknown.
