Yeah, I should've listened (bastard!). I just found it tough to buy vol at those levels. Oh well. At least I kept the bet very small.

But there could be an interesting side effect that might create some short vega opportunities in some sympathetic stocks in the sector (i.e. DNA, IMCL). Of course, I'll probably be a bit gun shy now playing the space. Still, open to any ideas.

although frankly I look at these kinds of stocks from a humanistic view... and always hope they do indeed find the cure(s) they are seeking!!

There is no stock price tag on such things, is there now??!!!!!

unreal for stock like IMCL which turned there first profit after how many years!

Okay, glutton for punishment that I am, just bought some cheap front month 70 strike IMCL flys. Nutty sector.

$1.40... not terrible, better than 3:1 and some short delta. Stock isn't moving much.

Which? IMCL? I got mine for $0.90, which I believe is still the prevailing price or close to it.
