Osama bin Laden has been 'located'

Quote from monty21:

The US probably has known for a long time the relative location of Osama and are waiting for the right time to capture him in order to make some publicity stunt for the war.
Good grief, another moonbat conspiracy spasm.

First the moonbats were saying that the US would conveniently "capture" Osama days before the '04 election so Bush could get a vote boost, and now it's this.

Reality continues to elude certain ET'ers...

This is probably some news just to stir up support for the war and call it successful. The US probably has known for a long time the relative location of Osama and are waiting for the right time to capture him in order to make some publicity stunt for the war.

Didn't we already float this theory back in '04?

Letter to President Bush.

President Bush,

Former CIA officer, Gary Bernsten, who led the CIA in Afghanistan to locate bin Laden, claims in his 2005 book "Jawbreaker" that they had pinpointed the location of bin Laden. According to Bernsten, al Qaeda detainees later confirmed that bin Laden had escaped Tora Bora into Pakistan. He also claims that bin Laden could have been captured if the U.S. Central Command had committed the troops that Bernsten requested. Former CIA officer, Gary Schroen, concurs with this view and Pentagon documents seem to confirm this account.

To this day, the U.S. Military is battling al Qaeda on the periphery of Waziristan with severe limitations. Are we fighting this war and sacrificing American lives to win or to appease our so-called allies? How can you, as Commander in Chief, condone a strategy which puts enemy territory off limits? If this was WWII and Hitler's bunker was "off limits", I wonder what the status of Europe would be today.

It appears to me that the United States has suborned the success of this mission, and the security of the United States, to Pakistan whose commitment is questionable at best. Please provide an explanation as to how, as Commander in Chief, you can support a military strategy which is riddled with limitations.

Thank you.

The Dubai-based satellite TV channel Al Arabiya is reporting that Osama Bin Laden has been “located” by US intelligence in the Kararakoram – a mountain range that spans the borders of Pakistan, the Kashmir and China (K2 is one of its peaks). There was a high-level meeting last week in Doha including General Petraeus, the recently-nominated Commander of US Central Command, and it is reasonable to speculate that – if there is truth to the report – it flows from this piece of intelligence. Whether the latest rumours about the tracking down of OBL have foundation will quickly become apparent. If they do have substance, Al Arabiya will have scored a huge world scoop – and have its rival Al Jazeera spitting nails.

we got an osama running for president if that means anything

No it doesn't mean anything. I would have had a Democrat run this country for the past 8 years instead of Bush...Imagine, the probability that we would have been in a war would have been much much much much much much much lower.

Obama's welfare state is better than a fascist Bush state.
