Fair enough. After nearly 30 years involved with hospice volunteering the closest thing to making sense for me, though I accept it has virtually no chance of reflecting reality, is the idea that there is one soul that lives all lives of all life, but in non-linear time. So evil is more of a "why are you hitting yourself?" thing.
