Order fill time on Ninjatrader

Hi,
I am new to using Ninjatrader.
using a sim version with cqg data feed.
have used xtrader and cqg IC in the past.

on the sim account , sometimes there is a considerable delay between placing orders and order getting filled ( i am hitting the price for fill)
i am only concerned about order fill time in a live environment.

is the fill time for ninjatrader more when compared to xtrader or cqg ic?

It depends on the broker you use NT with. I use IB and the execution is quite instantaneous. Just disable the sounds in options. It seems to cause a bit of lag.
 
Hi

i read that ninjatrader does not support trading spreads which are listed on the exchange eg calendar spreads for wti, brent-wti spread on ice.
is this true?
any way to work around this?
( maybe i can create a custom spread , but what i mainly want is to see the bid/offer depth on price ladder/dom)
