U.K. financial software company EasyScreen expands in U.S.
EasyScreen Selects SAVVIS Financial XchangeSM To Host 'EasyXchange'
EasyScreen Inc., a subsidiary of EasyScreen Plc (LSE: EAS, www.EasyScreen.com), a global supplier of software to electronic exchanges has signed an agreement with SAVVIS Communications (NASDAQ: SVVS), a global managed service provider, to provide integrated hosting and network services for EasyXchange, EasyScreen's trading platform.
SAVVIS Financial XchangeSM will serve as the network integration platform for EasyScreen, leveraging SAVVIS' private and secure Internet Provider ('IP') infrastructure and its robust hosting facility in Chicago, Illinois.
EasyScreen is committed to delivering the best in class integrated trading systems to global customers. EasyXchange provides trading software and multi asset class connectivity to global financial institutions, banks, brokers and trading houses and also hosts and manages the connectivity to exchanges.
EasyScreen selected SAVVIS for U.S. hosting of EasyXchange based on SAVVIS' leadership in the financial services industry, proven connectivity into all the major exchanges, brokers and banks, as well as SAVVIS' industry-leading guaranteed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
SAVVIS' Financial XchangeSM services will provide '24 by 7' hosting for the EasyScreen applications and network access via SAVVIS' award-winning Intelligent IP NetworkSM. EasyScreen will deliver four integrated applications over the SAVVIS network in the United States:
⢠EasyRouter - EasyScreen's core trading platform, connectivity and administration middleware;
⢠Easy Active Trade ('EAT') - The client application for Easy Router, which includes a functionality rich multi-asset class trading screen;
⢠EasyShield - A fast, sophisticated pre-trade risk management system that aggregates margins across multi-asset classes for the most effective use of capital;
⢠EasyFIX API - a FIX translation interface for the connection of client front end trading screens and black box applications, integration of back, middle office and client order management systems, and connection to proprietary APIs.
EasyXchange will connect to Euronext Liffe, EUREX, Euronext Paris, Chicago Board of Trade e-CBOT, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Montreal Derivatives Exchange, Singapore Exchange, the Sydney Futures Exchange and vendor connected equity and FX markets worldwide, with more to follow in the future, including EUREX U.S.
The SAVVIS IP network now spans 1,300 cities in 45 countries, encompassing the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Europe, The Middle East, Asia and The Pacific Rim. SAVVIS also operates 6 managed hosting centres in the United States, Europe and the Pacific Rim
