Opus Trading Fund

I had buddies interview at the old ETrade and at Trillium. The two that went to Trillium are both still trading - and one is making very nice $$$. I've heard Trillium has a good training program and an individual trainer and manager. The payout is not quite as high as a couple of the deals on the street but the net take home is better because of the attention they give you.

I traded at Schonfeld and it was a great start and introduction to prop trading.

20%????????????????

You must be joking. Yes, I know - "gross payout" - but still.

For those who where flat or negative net traders it was a great deal. It kept a lot of traders alive because it is easier to be gross positive.

Well, what's the rate?

I left for lower rates and higher payout.

Where is Trillium

I believe Trillium is located in the same place as OPUS, I know they have an office or two in NYC.

Both Trillium and OPUS are part of Schonfeld, what's the difference between the 2?

OPUS is now paying a 30k salary, guaranteed for the first 18 months. Then, compensation is only paid if profits made:

65% of net
or
29% of gross

Anyone gone through their training program?

SHould I take this offer?
