Optionuniversity.com (Avoid at all costs)

After a little back and forth Ron and Brett followed through. I recieved a refund from my credit card company last month and I recieved the complimentary copy of the courseware just a few days ago. I am going to take a few weeks and work through the material (20 video CDs) and try a of of the strageties. I'll follow up after I evaluate the material.

In the end they did what they promised.....

TOS is always very approachable & wants us to be better in option tradings. Their education are good & priced right. Most are free. They want to have long lasting customer base.

I have been taking many classes from TOS & have never heard any of them recommend anyone to take other's class. I know all three that you mentioned. They always only recommend us to take TOS education to be better option traders.

I was wondering about your post that they recommeded you since TOS has tons of option expert themselves. To be fair to you I contacted Tom.

This is his statement: TOS don’t recommend or endorse any third party vendor, either advisory or educational group (including OU).

I just attended a Beyond the Basics seminar put on by TOS/OptionPlanet. At the break they placed handouts on the tables for another meeting, this one put on by www.tradelikegurus.com. If you go to the website and check the list of "gurus", the only one listed is Ron Ianieri. So I guess there must be some connection between RI and TOS.

Eliot,
Take a second look at the list of participants at that site (http://www.tradelikegurus.com./events.htm) as well as their mission statement, and you might realize that the inference you made is possibly very (really very) weak.

I did listen to the webinar of Tom Sosnoff (TOS) on options university (RI) and it was very good. Each person must deside for him/her self if that is right for them. I did enjoy the presentation (free) and admit that I would probably not actually PAY for anything. Having said that I believe they are quite sincere.

Hammm…interesting to know :D . Would you happen to still have the link to Tom’s webinar? This is something that I would like to listen/watch if free.

Best regards,

I didn't say it was a strong connection, but I see both TOS and Ron Ianieri listed on the same flyer. Actually the wording is "tradelikegurus presents thinkorswim and Don Kaufman".

Anyone going to the Money Show in SF? It would be interesting to see who is in which booth.

Option world is a small world. Seems everyone knows everyone.

I am sure Ron Ianieri knows options very well. Just not sure the training is worth the money & time. Before you fork over your money just make sure he is a proven great option trader that makes tons of money himself & by following his methodology you can makes lots of money in your lifetime.

Trading options takes lots of time to learn, most just can not cut it. That's why you need to check carefully before spending your time & money.

I hate that they cut Ron's CNBC on air time down to next to zero and gave it all to that other bald guy. If it weren't for occasional apperances on Imus in the Morning you wouldn't here from him at all. I think he deserves more respect being one of the original anchors on cnbc. And now I come here and the poor bastard is getting attacked by internet tough guys. Whats next for him, a cold park bench??
