Options trading journal- question

Not going to debate about the constitution or whatever to turn this thread that should go into the "politics" section. My point was:

"The whole point of ET is discussion. It's a forum. A forum is where people go to discuss things..."

We are discussing things. Yes. But on your particular point you are correct, this political discussion should not be in Options, but Politics.

Cyberbullying is not discussing things. That's my point. I don't mind debating and disagreeing on things but stalking to do personal attacks that are not even remotely related to topics of discussion is just plain wrong. And that was what went and still goes on on ET.

Where is there "cyberbullying"?

Of course with your definition of what constitutes bullying, nothing is. We are supposed to "man up" and take whatever abuse comes our way, right? LOL What your options idol did was despicable and inexcusable. You know what I am talking about, your options idol stalking me and other ET members from one thread to another and posting replies to our posts with personal attacks. The problem of course is not the fact that he cyberbullies but the fact that his cyberbullying behaviour is condoned and allowed and is met with no consequences and not only that but is even cheered on by people thinking that it's fun. That's the crux of the problem.

It is a fucking chatting room. A forum. When I was in school, bullying was when some kid came up to you and punched you in the face and you had blood streaming from your face.

THAT was bullying.

This "cyberbully" thing? It's WORDS! WORDS! WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO STICK AND STONES CAN BREAK MY BONES BUT WORDS CAN NEVER HURT ME????

FUCKING WIMPS! Fuck these new generations. GenX was the last one to have any backbone of thought. Millennials (GenY) and forwards have no courage, no true reasoning skills, and no sense of self.

Well if words don't hurt then why do we have forum rules? People don't follow them when they are expected to that's a different story. When you are not on the receiving end of bullying of course it doesn't hurt especially when you are able to defend yourself by commenting back. I get attacked for every single post that I make by your options idol and I fight back with one comment and my comment got deleted by the mod. LOL If words don't hurt then why did the mod delete it? LOL

This is not about backbone. This is about respect. And you've got it all wrong. It's not the people who ignore and block pathetic cyberbullies like your options idol who are the wimps; it's the cyberbullies themselves who are the wimps. They surround themselves with their minions and hide behind them to make their pathetic attacking remarks just like bullies irl. If you have ever been bullied, you would've noticed that bullies always attack in groups and very rarely alone. Why? Because they are chicken shit and have zero self-confidence so they never dare to confront their target alone since they know they are not going to win. LOL

I ran this spread on the OCC calculator based on Friday's close 1X. The OCC margin is $75. For accounts under $5mm, Lightspeed/Wedbush add 20% for overnight risk. So with Lightspeed, in a PMA, the requirement 1X overnight would be $90 per spread. the net credit was $89 based on the file attached. I do not have access to a Reg-T calculator for Wedbush. If it were Monday, I could ask someone to run it. In a REG_T account, this would require with Lightspeed Option level 4. I hope this helps.

Robert, what are the -5 to 5 ranges? Stock moves?

RC will definitely loose money in -1,0,+1 scenario. Unless a good directional move happens during the week (and I will be out before Friday close)

Each product group has a different shock. Equities are +/-15%. -5 and +5 are 15% moves with each interval being 3%. The OCC margin requirement for all your XOM positions, options and stock, shocked this way, determines the OCC requirement. In most cases, the up and down extremes are the max loss, but sometimes it can be in the middle when you are long a lot of way out of the money wings.
