I never realized that there were just options seats.

I thought there were only like 5 or somthing. A general one and one for each exchange.

Yes. There are even seats for product groups that nobody really trades like futures on emerging markets.

The weird thing is the low value in COMEX Options Badges. The list of MMakers is not published, yet I see B/A as thick as CL. So, it's a thriving market.

I kind of never understood what are trading floor seats for, or the benefits of them -- I just associate them with the ancient Trading Places days
