torontoman, if you're talking about Dan, c'mon man. You guys have to be kidding me, right?

You do know who you're talking about right?

Even other market makers give him due respect, I heard from one that when he was just starting out many many years ago, as a clerk in the SPX pits, Dan was already a legend in the Chicago pits.

You guys have got to be joking, I hope. I would be happy to be trading even 1% of what Dan was handling in ONE position, for my ENTIRE PORTFOLIO.

Question: Does Dan actually trade his system? If he does not, this whole thread is a moot point. I believe Dan no longer trades for a living.

I am not.

I was here because I thought this board was a constructive place to get ideas and feedback and to share, and then to give back something to others who might be interested in what I was after in the first place.

What I found was something else entirely. I'm getting nothing in return from doing this except to offer whatever information I can which I think might help, and since it's not appreciated, I don't see the need to contribute any further.

You folks carry on criticising.
