Quote from riskfreetrading:
I have been using the model described in this thread for 9 consecutive trading days with one person. The account size requirement is less than day trade margin requirement. The day trade requirement is needed, due to multiple entries made during the day. Overnights are small.
Would you like to know how much we made?
The answer is ____ (read it below)
Highlights :
1. We have been positive every day.
2. The 9 trading days are consecutive days, during one of the toughest markets in history.
3. We also made money on the first day, but we traded only during the last few minutes of the day, after some live introductory lectures and getting to know each other and the market a bit better.
3. The first trading day is Feb. 26, 2009
The last trading day is today March 11, 2009.
4. The streak is technically 10 winning days in 10 consecutive days (if we include the first day)
5. If it can be done with a person for 10 consecutive days, then there must be something right in the model and with the people involved in the experiment. Don't you think?
6. No losing days, which means an equity heading just north.
Pay Day
We made more than $2500. (net of commission/fees/etc). The mentor already got his first payment in his business account yesterday. The payment does not include the profits of today (March 11, 2009).
The person involved in the experiment already got $1211 net, plus learning, in addition to the profits of today which have not been distributed yet.
The above numbers are net of commission/spreads/fees/etc are already paid for.
You see, this shows that the model works!
In case the little guy speaking inside you does not believe, I want to tell you that we have the transaction reports. Would you like to read them with your own eyes? If you want to, please PM me.
You see, the mentor is not showing what supposedly worked, he is showing what worked for the persons involved in the mentoring. He is showing that the model itself works.
We have proved that it worked for 10 consecutive days, and we need to prove it for a dozen individuals chosen randomly. Once I have that number of people, I would report that as well.
Each day, money was flowing to both persons participating in this experiment.
Who Paid The Tuition
But who paid for the mentoring? The people who are in the market, and who probably need mentorship. Currently they pay me and the other person, and do not get any education at all. I get the money, the other person in the mentorship gets money and knowledge. He is the biggest of all winners. We know who is the person who does not recognize good deals: the person paying the two persons involved in the mentorship model. That guy needs education. Do not be that guy!
