but how do u do incone trades with futures or protect yourself?
With options, I had overnight exposure. With futures, I don’t since I just trade them intraday.
Options are an easy game in some ways, no SL to close you out, you can lose most and have them come back to profit over night can make 10xs profits, thats why a lot still play it. I jumped on this and did very well instantly, till 100% puts and a gap up wiped me out.
Day trading futures on the other hand, been on this part time for years, tricky, high speed, break your own rules, get emotional and account blown in no time
Wednesday lol first time in over a year, training 1/10th size thankfully.Nothing is ever easy sadly.
I'm curious to why? I've always steered clear of futures but I know deep down its probably the most efficient choice of instrument for the more advanced trader.

There easy to play, making a profit long term with time decay very very hard.
I do trade option on a limited number of futures. I never do options on stocks.
