Options data subscription for IB API

Hello,

I wanted to check some stock options data on excel with IB DDE API, and an error occured : "Part of requested market data is not subscribed". I thought options were like stocks and part of the "professional bundle waiver". What do you subscribe to to get level1 ( only ) quotes ? OPRA( US options exchanges )? Just want to be sure ...
 
i think you're good with respect to subscription level. Try to see if there are tickers in the IB API template that you don't subscribe to

similar issue happened to me, I had to purchase level 1 + 2 for CBOE real prices(no other option), free waiver wont help you, you have to pay.
I think level 1 is good for you as long as you need final prices only, best advice for you is to ask the representitive.. he will fit you the data you need
