Options Book?

I ordered the Option Market Making book used on Amazon today.

I have that one. It is a fairly easy read. Have you ever read Options, Futures, & Other Derivatives, by Hull?

By buying the Hull book couldn't I be, in a way, supporting his campaign for the Senate. If he were to win, which is strong possibility because Illinois is trending Democratic, wouldn't I give up any incremental increase in my P&L through higher taxes?

Blair Hull who is running for Congress does not equal John Hull who wrote the book. They are two different people.
