Option Trading : Some basic questions

Please allow me to introduce myself.

I'm a swing equities trader with about 3 years of experience and
an emini futures trader with roughly 18 months of experience.

Interested at the moment in doing some options trading.

Unfortunately, I know very little about options and respectfully ask
for some preliminary help on this great board.

For instance, I would appreciate help on the following topics:

- Which direct broker is recommended ?
- Which books should I read ?
- Should I paper trade them first ?
- Any links or first warning tips are very much welcome.

Yahoo finance option chains are very accurate and good for paper trading.

for paper trade you can use optionsxpress, because they allowed us to do paper trade as soon as you registered, no need to fund your account first.

I and others have had bad experiences with Yahoo option quotes. I would not rely on their data.

You can get free and reliable delayed option quotes from the CBOE and OX websites.
