Option trading for a newbie

Ben,

I actually thought of picking up some.. thought pretty hard about it actually.. but just couldn't pull the trigger.. Didn't think it would work out.. but looks like the streak continues...

puzzling? I thought ADBE reported some good news like a week ago? This play seems to be a given I think. Well, what I heard was this play was more like free money.

I don't really follow the stock (or any individual stock). It's that when I review the things I look at... everything looks like long puts on this one. Until this pick, I agreed with each put or call pick.

20 ADBE calls, I should have doubled down :D

I sold them all at $2.85 and got a nice gain of $3,340.

No, not this one. I bought them yesterday morning. I was a bit late. I could have had them for $1.00 or under if I took the chance right at the open yesterday.
 
Well, just did an analysis of my account again, and I'm showing a gain on my account at +35,597.25. I'm near $50,000 on my account.

hey in what way do u take into consideration expiration on some of these stocks and their earnings reports?
thanks this journal is pretty interesting for what its worth.
