1- You can leg as much as you want, but you'll be at the risk of the market. So for condors, if you think the security is trending up, you can try to sell the put spread near mid market, then offer a limit call spread higher than the offer and hope your right.

2-The floor and the complex order book will see the net debit or credit on the spread. I assume your trading platform allows you to enter it that way.

The best time to leg in is 1:02 PM EST when MM's have returned from their lunch suffering from post prandial depression.

Yes, it's true. Brokers make up the numbers for the execution of your orders. Real prices are only available to floor traders.
