This is not true. They have a rebranded Trading Technologies product. I haven't used it, but considering it's a TT product, I expect it to be very good: https://www.tradestation.com/platforms-and-tools/futures-plus/

But yes, equities / fut / fop all in separate accounts sucks, You can use the FuturesPlus account to trade both fut & fop, of course. fut $2.75, fop $2.07 one way

I think Tradestation is better platform in all department, except they don't have access to all the global markets that IB has and financial strength of IB.

I have account with both IB and TS, i am spending more time on learning TS and through TS global account you can send trade signal for all world exchanges right from TS platform

There's an option when you right click called 'performance' that shows you the PL

you cant edit this though.. its fixed at the current price the spread is trading which is kinda stupid.

That sounds like a good idea. I used to have TradeMonster/OptionMonster before they were acquired by Etrade. They had excellent option analysis tools but no API or futures trading. It is hard to find a broker that provides everything unless you trade strictly equity or futures. Tradestation looks appealing, but doesn't have options on futures (WTF?) and requires separate futures and equity accounts.

trademonster had one of the best P&L option graphing ever.. i used to use it just to model positions i wish it was still around.

you could adjust vol on each strike.. prices, everything.. it was really good.. are any brokers still offering this or is it abandoned?

I am new to tradestation, but i'm sure you can automate equity trading with power of EL, but not sure about how options works and if can be back tested or automated, as i never traded options yet.
