option liquidity

Last time I see a lot of normally liquid option stocks like TSLA SCTY and a bunch others that have very wide bid/ask spread, also option volume is much much lower than usual. From nearest expiry date to expiry date a month of, very low volume in the option chains.

Any explanation for this?

You are wrong about TSLA - volume and bid/ask are very good for the options. Any option trader will find lots of opportunities with TSLA options.

SCTY I don't follow.
