I have a bunch of steak knives from bobby vans and interestingly I was using one yesterday to cut strawberries for my daughter.
When I was a young first year analyst a broker bought our desk lunch and bobby vans sent real steak knives (made of wood and metal). People were going to throw them away and I thought that was wasteful given that they were real and I needed some knives and I was relatively poor, so i collected a bunch and took them home. That was almost 20 years ago and I still have them.

From what I remember, it becomes a carry trade later that night
