What time do you guys use as the open time for the YM when figuring out the first hour IB...I know it trades alomost around the clock, and the pit opens at 7:20am chicago, but it really dosent start to trade until the e-minis open at 8:30....

most people use the first 60min or first two full 30min brackets of RTH trading. for the ES that is 9:30 - 10:30 Eastern. i don't trade the YM, but it seems like it opens for RTH at 9:15 eastern. so you may want to go with an IB of 9:15 - 10:15 or 10:30.
