I agree with mostly what you said. Things always change. Got to adapt to win in this business.
Was wondering how u guys use automation and see the moc's update every 30 seconds and if I can get a demo of your trading platform. As my current firm does not offer anything like that. Might change if I like what I see
Regards,
Eric

Quote from Don Bright:
The openings have always tended to go in streaks over the years. I emphasize consistency. Our guys have added more stocks and are more are going fully automated (with manual over-ride of course). I use both of our opening spreadsheets, and haven't really had any problems. My retracement orders go in within a second or two, and that seems to be making a big difference. Several have gone with the automated trailing stops as well (I choose not to, just a persona choice). The more automation that my teams come up with seems to be really helping. Adapt adapt adapt I guess, that never seems to change.
As I mentioned above, the whole MOC imbalance play has changed to being more of a trading time period vs. a strict MOC (placing actual MOC order) type of technique.
(Obviously)... as traders mature, they visualize their trading structure differently.... making it easier for them to "see" what and when to take part in the various
time frames/events/techniques/strategies etc. Observation and record keeping are paramount in this business. If something isn't working for you, then alter your approach... find what is working. My guys who "always" make money no matter what, seem to have the ability to naturally adapt to changes in various trading options.
All the best, gotta submit my openings, LOL.
