Opening Orders - 2009

Hi I'm new around here. I've been trading openings for about three months now. Thought I'd join in posting my results.

1 long(loser), 1 short(winner), -0.10 average. I let my long slide a little too much.

How have you been doing in the last months?

In the last three months I've traded:

49800 shares
Profited $831
$277 per month

A few weeks ago I moved my trading size up which has made quite a difference in my profits. I feel more confident now in handling lots of fills.

Hey Don -

Are you &/or your brother active @ this year's WSOP?

I was in Vegas 6-5 - 6-15 & played WSOP + Binion's & Golden Nugget Tourneys - so-so results.

Regards, hlu45

Bob will be in the Big game starting this Saturday. He didn't do too well in the Seniors game (damn old smart guys, LOL).

I may play in one of the charity events.

June monthly review
Played 20 days
64 fills, 37 longs, 27 shorts, 45 winners, 10 losers, +0.04 average (min -0.08, max 0.22).
Only 2 days down, 4 no fills, no big winner day.
Still played cautiously on longs.
An ok month overall.
This month and the previous, I noticed some shakeout on the Es at the open in the first minute. And also several reversal after a run up or down. Making things a little hard to trade. You get long, the floor breaks, you get out and 5 minutes later it's all back.

(I'll try to get back to posting for July, too many days flying around and in hotel rooms the last couple of weeks... had trouble with program on laptop with sporadic connectivity).

Anyway. 100% winners for the month of July, LOL.

AVP, CPB, and GE. +24 cents.

Don

3 fills, 3 longs, 2 winners, 1 loser, flat.
2 fills on the pop from 905 to 903.
Cut the crap fast and then they had drawdown b4 coming back.
Larger on both sides.
