Opening Orders - 2009

Can anyone explain the way you get your Fair Value number? Do you use this method, FV= cash [1+r (x/360)] - Dividends , or is their an easier way? What interest rate do you use in this calculation if you use this formula? Where do you get the dividend yield number from?
