Opening Orders - 2008

I think I got lucky.
This morning I woke up, no electricity. Decided I was going to make the open no mather what. Took off with my laptop and went to a nearby university (wireless in cafe suck). Get there 15 minutes before the open. Scan through the news in 10 minutes. My spreadsheet was ready from yesterday night. Send the orders. Looked at the orders and I'm like "Heh, dosen't make sense totally!". I was way out on some. Made some adjustment quickly and went for it anyways. Only got 4 filled and they sucked. Going back home I was thinking about that and figured I updated my spreadsheet with the closes 2 days ago
I guess there are days when life give us a day off and we should listen.

If you're trading a big list of stocks, that's the kind of mistake that can take you out permanently. This strategy gives you enough rope to hang yourself 100x over.

I have a hotkey on my keyboard (the spacebar actually, cant miss it!) that I can use if something smells bad. That cancells all remaining orders. But yes, severe injuries can be made before hitting that thing.

before I submit OPG orders I quickly scan by eye the stocks trading pre-market to check if I may be getting too many fills. I hope this can eliminate the potential disaster of using a wrong file. I saw lescor's account from a few years ago about using 2 month old file, scarry stuff.
