Opening Orders - 2008

Hi Don, I've watched this thread with interest for the past few months. When you say you "played it safe" this morning, do you mean you didn't enter as many orders or just downsized your positions? Did you stay out of financials all together? Thanks. I've been getting a lot out of your posts on this strategy.

I've stayed away from banks and brokers for months. I just placed a single layer this morning versus the 2 or 3 I might generally put in. 4 fills, 3 winners, bailed out of HAL too soon, basically break even.

I find the financials to be working great for me lately. No surprise, all the longs have been losers this month but there have only been very few. I just stay clear of the ones with news. Sometimes you can ride these suckers for 10-15 minutes.
 
Going in with sell orders only with .2 envelope to start, then probably tighten some a little since they look pretty wide & likely will not get any fills there
