Opening Orders - 2008

Just curious. Has anyone noticed any trends regarding opening orders such as do they tend to be more profitable if the futures indicate a big or down opening?

Generally speaking the bigger the futures opening in either direction, the more excitement you're going to get. Sometimes it's good excitement, other times not so good.
 
Impressive Shreddog. Were you ever down at one point? I was 90% short today and it ran against me a lot before things got better.

Oh yes. There was a day in August that was just nasty. And there have been plenty of other decent sized losers. There's definitely potential for loss with this method.
