On Thursday night I was unable to enter a stop order for Canola (I posted about that earlier -- search for other posts/bitch sessions by SideShowBob). Friday morning I was able to enter the order, so I chalked it up to some kind of after hours glitch.
Then the stop price hit. And I got a nice messagebox saying the order was rejected, clearing account not found. I immediately placed a market order to replace the first order, that was also rejected. Their chat didn't feel like responding to my question about what was going on (note: Thursday night their chat, some dude named YJackson, didn't respond either -- now that OptionsXPress is in charge they're adopting the IB customer service model).
Does anyone have a clue what this error means? Can anyone recommend a broker that supports all the exchanges supported by OEC (most pits are supported although not COMEX/NYMEX anymore)?
