OpenBookTrader's Open Journal

I may have missed it as I haven't read the full journal. Is this a live (real money) account or a paper account?

Hi there.

This is a paper account.

Just another question, when you say this is a paper account, are you in fact trading through a brokerage simulator paper account or are you using a spreadsheet and assuming the open and closes are fully filled with no slippage and or brokerage costs? I am just curious!

I'm trading through a brokerage simulator. The prices I post are the actual "fills" from the simulator.

The posts on the account balance, buying price, etc. are all copied from the simulator's account page. I just edit them slightly to appear more readable and small enough to be posted daily.

By the way, the recent SPXU and SDS trades are shorts-I shorted these inverse ETFs to represent a long position. I have orders to cover these positions at today's (Mar. 14) open for a quick yet sizable profit.
