At any rate, it was a big mistake for the OP to have entered a trade that he knew nothing about. Second, he made the bigger mistake for having traded the October contract (what were you thinkin'??) Third, the biggest mistake was that you traded way more than you should have. 7 CL contracts are equivalent to 7000 shares of ETF (depending on which ETF you trade).
If you don't plan to bail out soon, you might at least consider hedging by buying Inverse Oil ETFs (see the following link):
