I am unhedged though and holding throughout the entire RTH...then another set overnight......obviously this is not a margin issue...its an ElectricSavant issue...lol

I can allocate more of my own start capital if this makes it in the Journal. $6,500 for now we shall see, but I am not going to chase a losing strategy.

This strategy is so robust I can make a lot of mistakes.

In the Journal Actual Live Entry and Exit prices (not sim) will be shown from Tradovates platform. I will post the direction as seen below BEFORE the RTH session opens (9:30 est - 4:00 est).

MNQ is Long today (RTH Session)


I trade overnight also. But in the beginning there will be One (1) Micro-contract traded only in the RTH session. We shall see how this goes.

I simply do not believe in backtesting. I change and adapt too much. To try and put the market in a can does not work. I trade with a systematic approach until it stops working then adapt.

This particular method uses a rotating set of indicators that change ranking daily. Impossible to backtest it. I prefer systems that are impossible to backtest as I dislike backtesting so much.

I am having trouble getting my account funded (transfer) and that is why I have not started the Journal. I need live data and to trade live for the Journal. This might take a while.

If you have no statistics to backup your system then how do you even know it works? I know from experience that building a trading system based on some indicators only last so for a limited time. Once the market changes (more or less volatile for example) the system is done.

How can you make money if you have to change your system every few weeks? Anyway, looking forward to the journal! Good luck.

I do not think that if I get emails such as yours even though it is friendly and respectful that I want to experience a Journal in ET. I do not change the premise of the system, I change the ranking of the components within the system.
