I have mentioned this over and over again. By the time the virus was discovered in China in late 2019 it was TOO LATE. Can't you guys think in macro-terms of time?

The only way to stop the spread of this virus would be to shut down all air travel PERIOD, ALA 9/11, but for 3-4 months!

I'm a bit surprised that the United States has a significantly higher vaccination rate than Canada. Like more than double with at least one dose according to the NYT tracker.

Kind of a bad time for universal public healthcare to fall on its face.

You mean the system where roughly 600 people per million have died due to Covid versus 1800 in the US ? Thank god you guys pay so much for health care it could be 5000 right ?

30% of Canadians have had one shot now ( as of 4 days ago ) less then only 3 weeks after the article. There have been rapid changes around here all month. While the rollout is not ideal I'd still rather have the 1100 people per million alive then dead, to put it in stark terms.
