Reasonable sacrifices? Says the trader who just sits at home looking at charts. If the government decides to close your trading account because you do something they don't like, who is going to fight for you? If the government shuts down the internet in the name of safety, how are you going to trade since this for you seems to be your source of income?

Its easy for you to say all this when it doesn't affect you much. Ottawa is full of government workers that never had to worry about losing money. If anything, they got it much easier by being able to work from home.

Its really sad that you don't see the big picture.

Hate to break it to you but it is you that isn't seeing the bigger picture. All those losers on these protests feel hard done by petty temporary hardships while the people of Ukraine deal with a real crisis. I've lived a long life experienced a lot of things and maybe in the future you'll realize why you are being young and stupid right now. Covid has really exposed the weak minded in society they are online or on the streets whining about how hard done they are. Canada reached pre-Covid employment levels many months ago and we have plenty of social programs to help those in need. Toughen up.

I think that you don't see the big picture. You just see what the truckers want, not what the rest of the Canadian and American people (that's the big picture) want. You see less than 0.1% of the population's wishes.
Millions of people have to live together so they need rules to avoid chaos. The rules have to be accepted by the majority. That is called democracy.
A few truckers now want to change the rules. They want that they can decide what the rules are. That is called dictatorship.
If each person, who does not agree with something that government does, would do what truckers do, the whole community will be in no time ruined financially. There would be thousands of protests and living together would become impossible.
If you don't like what happens in your country, move to another country that fulfills your wishes. You cannot expect that a whole country will have to live by rules made by a few truckers.

Well if you want tho use that argument, I tell you that there more black innocent people are getting killed by cops than white ones. There will always be arguments for and against. It would be better if both sides would stop their crimes. If one starts and the second does not follow, we clearly see who the real criminals are.
Don't forget the black slavery and the mass killing of indians (like Wounded Knee) by the "innocenct and correct" white Americans.

No such destruction occurred in Canada. We have better social harmony here less reasons for minorities to be upset ( any related protests were peaceful and respectful ). The 'truckers' are unwanted and more disruptive, and most Canadians are NOT supportive of them at all. You are confusing the social strife in the US with the reality in Canada. In many ways, the 'truckers' are a bunch of Americans trying to import their cause to Canada, and not realizing we don't agree with them or want them here at all. Some may latch onto civil rights and technicalities on the government action, but ultimately most of us are fine with whatever measures to get these assholes off our streets.

That's cute but both operations are/were social engineering operations to divide and conquer the population....among other things. It's best that people like us disregard that BS and focus on what the governments are doing in response to the BLM/Trucker psyops.
