Quote from crgarcia:
Succesful people don't run a business from their own home.
They rent or at least share some office space.
Working from home leads to lazyness.
(i.e. waking up late, taking a shower late or not at all, working in nondrescript clothes, etc.).
But more important it leads to interruptions from family members and friends.
Not to mention the social stigma.
So, only losers daytrade from home?
More even, Super-losers daytrade from their home, with a computer in their bedroom?
More yet, Super-ultra-losers daytrade from their parents' home they live in?
Cigar Garcia:
I would respond affirmatively to the last *two* questions you posed.
But I would only partly agree about successful people not running businesses from home. I think working from home can be very enjoyable for most people, myself included. Right now I work in an office building but know if I was trading my money alone I might consider a home office. Working from home, for me, has been frankly awesome in the past. It depends, though...for those living in a sunny state (CA, Florida) it could be paradise.
Needless to say, I wouldn't trust a person to sell me something if he/she is working from home!
Do you day trade from home much?
