Only guy ALL participants in this forum would agree on : Ron Paul

Ron Paul would definitely send a message to corporate america. In my opinion, he probably could have been one of the best presidents ever.:(

You would never vote for Ron Paul. You are an Obama girl all the way. Obama is the complete opposite of Republican Ron Paul.

It looks like you will get your wish. You will get your $500-$1,000 welfare payment that will be part of the income tax code. However, the question remains, who will you blame for you pathetic existence once Obama is elected? Will you blame the minority republicans? Will you blame the rigged market for your trading losses? Or, will you grow some balls, look in the mirror, and address the real problem?

"Remember those Ron Paul newsletters that he published but maybe didn’t personally write [even though they referenced his longtime personal friend, were written under the name "Ron Paul" and were written in first person?] — the ones that had all that mean stuff about how all the black people are stupid criminals? The New Republic’s James Kirchick dug up a whole bunch more back issues of the creepy newsletters, which mix every kind of Art Bell paranoia with good old-fashioned attacks on Martin Luther King Jr.As with the previous batch of interesting theories and thoughts from the RP newsletters, the newly discovered issues are missing helpful clues (such as bylines) that might help today’s concerned voter figure out if Ron Paul himself authored all these racist paranoid gold-loving Israel-obsessed diatribes, or if his friends and supporters actually wrote the material. But nearly every month for thirty years, there has been a newsletter with Ron Paul’s name on the masthead, published by one of Ron Paul’s organizations.

Martin Luther King Jr. earned special ire from Paul’s newsletters, which attacked the civil rights leader frequently, often to justify opposition to the federal holiday named after him. (”What an infamy Ronald Reagan approved it!” one newsletter complained in 1990. “We can thank him for our annual Hate Whitey Day.”) In the early 1990s, a newsletter attacked the “X-Rated Martin Luther King” as a “world-class philanderer who beat up his paramours,” “seduced underage girls and boys,” and “made a pass at” fellow civil rights leader Ralph Abernathy. One newsletter ridiculed black activists who wanted to rename New York City after King, suggesting that “Welfaria,” “Zooville,” “Rapetown,” “Dirtburg,” and “Lazyopolis” were better alternatives. The same year, King was described as “a comsymp, if not an actual party member, and the man who replaced the evil of forced segregation with the evil of forced integration.”

I love Ron Paul's ideals and some of his ideas, but he was the worst candidate I've ever seen. How does someone go on Meet the Press to discuss eliminating the income tax without even knowing how much the income tax brings in? It just made him look like a buffoon. It makes no difference how much you back a candidate, if he doesn't want to run a real campaign, all you are doing is wasting time. One other major negative for Ron Paul was his kooky supporters. We had to put up with months of their bellowing about how all of us sheeple just didn't get it, we just keep going along with the flock right over a cliff. But not one of these non-sheeple has ever asked what Ron Paul did with all that grass-roots campaign money he raised. He dang sure didn't buy advertising with it, (nor any suits or haircuts either).
