Online Hacking-Insider Job?

Quote from mbay:

I don't think so, if you can think of a plan to abuse your employement for millions, I think you can think of a plan to earn a million too.

Plus, what good is living on a remote island, when you have to look over your shoulder for the rest of your life 24/7.

Imagine if you have a family later on, what are you going to do for protection outside the US let alone in the US.

A plan to earn millions by the right way may not come
so easily as an opportunity to use your advantage of
insider's "know-how" to gain access to cash flow, and this "know
-how" far exceeds the technology of conventional hackers from
outside.

Many rich biz man and actors/actresses own castles and islands
(watch CNBC,they advertised islands 5 mil or more) and some of
these are owned by other countries such as U.K/Australia not U.S; Why would rich biz-man and actresses own them if they are concern about protection....it's like saying I do not want own a yacht because it is not safe in the open sea.

I think your missing the big picture, there will always be rotten apples, but assuming there is good security management protocols in place (we are talking about companies like etrade) and employees understand how high the risk is, most likely it is hackers and not employees.

I am arguing that it is 100% hackers, I am just stating that its most likely hackers rather then employees.

Are you saying these companies employees are 100% honest and sensible?
(when they could be desperate for money at that moment)

It just takes one to show you are 100% wrong.

Sorry, I forgot to include a word in my previous post and 30 minutes have passed, so no edit function.

I meant to say "I am arguing that it is NOT 100% hackers, I am just stating that its most likely hackers rather then employees. "

So it probably is majority hackers and very few employees if any. The risk is to high for employees while the risk is far less for hackers and the reward is equivalent.

Just that alone supports my argument that it is most likely hackers and not employees, but that does not mean it could not be employees too.

I hope that helps and sorry for my previous posts for not being clearer.

Is there a need to hack into the acct?

Does all these firewall/antivirus stuff protect you when
you use your laptop in a wireless environment and all
the crook who is sitting nearby needs is to trace your key strokes
just for the password (He will then log into your account another
time without even the need the hack into it)?

No need to go through all that software jargon. Headache...

Maybe a hardware key is the solution...i.e. you need a personalized/unique small usb device that confirms you are really the trading acct holder (like the good old days for AUTOCAD)
