Since the Market direction is so important to the canslim method then why don't they just buy options on the general market and forget about trying to sift through thousands of stocks in the hopes of catching the big winner ?
O'Neil ( on page 86 of the second edition) says that only one or two out of 10 stocks he selects are really outstanding....
So if he only get one or two then what chance to us mere mortals have?
Do growth mutual funds out perform value funds over time...?
Something seems off here.....seems the average person may be better served at trying to get the general market direction right and pick an in the money option.
