The reality this amount of heat content is nearly meaningless from the ocean's perspective. The accepted unit for measuring ocean heat content is the Yottajoule. The yottajoule (YJ) is equal to one septillion (10^24) joules. This is approximately the amount of energy required to heat the entire volume of water on Earth by 1 Celsius.
Even your sad alarmist chart can not alter the reality that the global ocean temperature has increased by a mere 0.06 degrees since 1960.
