One or multiple journals?

We already have one member who has like a dozen different journals. We don't need another. Keep it tidy.

WE dont need another dozen;
but those markets are so different, the more the private[ non published ] journals , the better.
But those are for private journals + most people learn better with writing things down.
If you trade- invest stocks [or ETFs] like Mike Masters Marlin Hedge Fund; he used business cards for notes, so less can be more sometimes.
Keep it different , tidy+ trendy.

Okay. Then I would suggest that your reporting in your journal(s) is concentrating on currencies and most liquid futures as there is the most liquidity. You need to consider that you are anticipating what others are doing when you let test your XAI to find something. So here any edge should be last to be vanished which should be also important for you as you want to profit from your findings as long as possible. You should also consider that any found edge can be reengineered when you post too much trade details. So be careful here in your own interest.

I appreciate your concerns, which are my concerns, too.

I understand I have a passion for reverse engineering strategies, too.
By writing, you inevitably show more than intended.

But when I explain how to move people's servers closer to platforms and their costs, they usually stop talking to me. Speed makes lonely.

I think you need to have different journals. You might be talented to predict currency pairs based on the news, but it might not work on cryptos!
Have different journals.

Thank you very much.

I figured the community had a divided opinion on this question.

Hence, I asked.

So far, a commonly agreeable principle could be unity outside and clustering inside.

I mean to open one thread but have multiple journals within that single thread.

I could post tables, and the table would divide the trades per market and strategies.

I think EliteTraders don't support tables natively, but I could post screenshots about the tables I generate.

One Elitetrader , posted a huge number of profitable daytrades on DOW derivative;
but that's not a main benchmark+ so did not seem to hurt himself.
But he was very, very focused on that one daytrade journal..........

Thank you all. I got how I'll post the trades now.

The question left is, how much should I write about the individual trades?

I could write article-size posts that explain the strategies as I do in my TradingView ideas. That teaches more, but some people won't have the time to read them.

But I could also post trades in X style in a few lines so people could see through the list of trades more efficiently. I can put less data into short posts.

Just wondering how AI would handle commodities??

Examples...The Middle East blows up?

Ukraine bombs large Crimean ports (wheat)??

Am just thinking geopolitical and how AI would interpret the events...

If people find interest after skimming your content, they'll find the time to read it thoroughly. Don't worry about that.

I appreciate the help. I can break down the writing. With appropriate titles, keywords, and tags, I believe people can navigate.

Usually, it all begins with news. Then, people write about it on X, Facebook, and similar platforms. Then news providers see people are interested and write even more, reaching more readers, and thus, the information propagates. You can connect your AI to social media APIs and news websites.

YTD, month %, all that could help;
trading contests have so many blow ups I would disclose that every time -trade .
THAT way if you even blow up a fun demo account no one gets confused:D:D

When I woke up, I figured a live Google document could help. I don't know why I didn't think of it so far.

In an Excel spreadsheet, I can write multiple pages for different pairs and tables for strategies.

Furthermore, I can iteratively update the same document. So, it's a tidy solution.
