It was supposed to be the inauguration of the Iranian President who got elected. That was the event Ismael Haniyeh was attending. Funny thing is, it was reported he had a house in Iran? Hamas leaders probably, live such opulent lives abroad thanks to the Qatari government who supports Hamas financially.

I tend to agree, for now. Their UN guy said they would "respond with special ops".. whatever that means, but it doesn't sound like another barrage of missiles at Israel.

There's one thing worth noting imo, and @themickey actually pointed it out with those pics on page 1. Bibi got a standing ovation from Congress, met with Trump, and then he returns a day or so later to Israel and pulls off two assassinations, the one in Tehran with the Hamas' chief negotiator lol... (certainly a new twist on how to negotiate a cease-fire :banghead: ) --- it's the perception in the Middle East now (right or wrong) that he was emboldened by the U.S. Congress and more than likely Trump also.

I don't think this is going to bode well for whatever hostages still remain. I'm sure Netanyahu knew that when he decided to take this guy out. Hard to get in his head, but he probably thought it was an exceptable trade-off maybe. I dunno.
