One Of The Main Blocks To US Energy Policy Is Gone

So, do you think the "champion of the environment" is going to be a good thing for energy exploration?

I guess if you want to throw $Billions at the wind fantasy or solar.

I don't foresee him helping with nuclear expansion, drilling expansion, natural gas expasion.

Agreed.

Nuclear, solar, wind. Wave even.

It's about time. Will be interesting to see where OPEC takes the price of crude once the policy is released and funded.

All I got out of that article is that cap-n-trade is coming our way.

Not just cap & trade:

"Obama has promised to spend $15 billion a year to help private industry develop clean energy technology and to institute a cap-and-trade system to reduce emissions 80 percent by 2050."

I'm not a fan of Obama, or any tax & spend democrat for that matter. But, I'm willing to put up with that in order to get a sane energy policy in place.

Besides, it's not like the Republicans have done us any favors these past 8 years...
