one computer, 2 network groups?

if I add a network card in addition to the one already in the computer(total: one wireless, one wired), would I be able to configure the computer so it can belong to two different network groups? if so, is it possible to organize so that certain folders are shared in one group and unshared in the other? I have winxp, btw. TIA.

Yes I do this all the time. Networking is a complex subject. I'd suggest picking up a book at barnes n' nobles. I can try to help you via priv message if you wish.
