On which stocks or etfs would you park your money for this new year?

Depends on what commodity are u talking about. S&P 500 is in backwardation, so when you roll you buy in at a lower price.

im looking at a portfolio of the miners once they bottom for my boys as an investment. this will be a long term hold (10-15yrs) much like a pension with the exception you can take profits any time and dont have to hold till pensionable age. will be looking to deploy 25k each on ABX around low wave iii and the other 25k each should we see lower levels. attached a chart for ABX. this is the wave count im currently tracking but it does not mean it will play out. i just like to have a plan via elliott wave more to let me know when im wrong. that way i keep my losses small. when im right all i have to concentrate on is managing the position
