Fortunately for town drunk Ted the moon landing was going on at the exact same time pushing the story off the front page. Powers that be and a willfully ignorant press had time to circle the wagons and provide protection. Womanizing Ted was still riding the sympathy coattails of his assassinated brothers and the whole story died quicker than Mary Jo did. They did suspend his license though, so there is that.
Yes, but apparently I am not very good at being a peasant because for some unknown reason I don't get anything from the various governmental agencies and have been paying for all my shit myself. Let me know how I can apply for free stuff - I'm sure you have all those links saved.

I am not poor so I dont apply for government handouts but google welfare or food stamps and you can sign up for what you need
That's not really helpful. Us peasants need at least one government worker to make sure we have everything we need or want. I didn't know you had to be poor, either. Seems like back in the day some of the nicest Cadllacs were driven by welfare queens.

She waded in the swamp like her fellow Socialists and Communists and realized, it is so easy in Congress to sell your influence for millions and nobody will enforce any corruption laws on the books because those tasked to keep everyone honest, are all swamp creatures themselves.
Cars are pretty easy to finance on a Congresswoman's salary, plus all the donations you bring in. Look at Pelosi's outfits and Cruz' cancun trips.... lots of donor money there.
